The HTC One A9 will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is will be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Helio X20 chipset, which comes with a deca-core CPU (yeah you read it right). The Helio X20 Processor runs on an octa-core processor split into two quad-core segments running at 1.4GHz which will be based on Cortex-A53 chipset and the other at 2.0GHz are going to be Cortex-A72 cores, which should perform a lot better than the Cortex-A57s.The Cores are being divided into two different clusters for maximum performance with minimum power drain.
