Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL coming to India in December

Microsoft’s Satya Nadella made mention of the launch of the company’s latest flagship handsets, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, at the Future Unleashed conference which took place in India earlier today. Nadella announced that the devices will be available in India in December, but he was little mum on the exact availability and pricing details for the handsets.

India is one of the biggest markets where Microsoft has some market share, thanks to its budget-friendly offerings. However, to make sure it excels in the high-end market, I think the company has to aggressively price the handset in order to attract more customers.

Anyway, here’s the breakdown of what both devices have in store for its users:

Lumia 950

  • 5.2-inch display (2560 by 1440 pixels resolution)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • MicroSD card slot
  • 3,000 mAh battery
  • 20MP camera with optical image stabilization
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • Windows 10

Lumia 950 XL

  • 5.7-inch display (2560 by 1440 pixels resolution)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • MicroSD card slot
  • 3,340 mAh battery
  • 20MP camera with optical image stabilization
  • 5MP front-facing camera
  • Windows 10

We’ll update you as soon as we get any information about the exact availability date and pricing for the handsets. Stay tuned.
